The Concept!

The plan is to drive around America in an RV visiting as many cool exciting places and experiencing as much of the culture as possible in 6 weeks.
It would be nice to do it without getting lost!...Glenn
It would also be great if we could do it without a backseat driver!...Kate
... and if we could do it without killing each other or our children it would be even better.

Ready...Set.....Go!

Kate has finally arrived home and we are preparing for takeoff. Actually, I have just been given guidance that packing for the holiday can wait until tomorrow. It seems there is a magic time period between 0600 and 0800 where everything can be done? Oh well, the holiday has started so might as well sit right back and enjoy the ride!

We leave Sydney Airport at lunchtime on Sat and arrive for morning tea on the same Sat. The kids are having no end of problems coming to terms with my explanation of this phenomenon. I guess they don't understand the flux capaciter theory  too well....

    Hey team Mathews, how is the trip so far? Have you managed to find one of those motels from national lampoon series...What are your plans over the 20-21 apr? Hope all is well!

    Hey Jimmy! We are well past West Point and won't have time to double back for the games, sorry! We will be in the Rockies on our way back to the west coast! Good luck though! Xo
